Do you play - or are you learning - a musical instrument?*

Do you like the idea of playing for the fun of it with a friendly group of people?

Would you like to play in an orchestra, but are a bit (or completely!) out of practice?

Then come along and try
THE WIMBORNE ORCHESTRA

We are a society with over 80 members who meet on a Monday night in Corfe Mullen to rehearse together. All ages are welcome.

As a community orchestra we aim never to turn anyone away, or to have limits on the number of instruments in any section. We do not require any specific grade or level of experience, just an ability to read music, a reasonable knowledge of the instrument, and a willingness to join in and make music with others.

*At the moment we are looking particularly for Bassoons, Trombones, Double Basses, and a Tuba, but all orchestral and band instruments are welcome.

As of 1 September 2016 all adult members pay a monthly subscription of £5 by standing order.  School pupils and students in full-time education currently pay NO SUBSCRIPTION!  We do have several members of school age, but would be very pleased to welcome more.

For further information about the orchestra please use the form on the Contacts page, ring one of the numbers listed, or join our open Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/42649044800/ .
